The idea to create her own business in the field of financial consulting appeared long ago – in 2009. That time Lyubov Tsymbal completed the project of business service center’s creation in Kharkov, where all the financial activities of Russian and Ukrainian companies-members of large international holding had been consolidated. Subsequently, this experience made effective implementation of a number of advanced tools possible in companies of Ukrainian origin (“Alba Ukraine”).
The approval from close friends reinforced the desire to create own business. The phrase, heard from one of the business owners: “You have your own system of management organizations in finance, and wherever you are, you are always going to impose it under the tracing paper, considering specific features of each business”, pushed acting decisively.
Study at the International Institute of Management (MIM) program for Senior Executive MBA (MBA program for owners and senior management) affected the decision to create own business. The idea became a reality at the initial stage of study process, when Lyubov received the first cooperation proposal, and the first lecture on the subject of “Corporate Governance” removed all doubts afterwards.
During the process of corporate strategy development and work on the SWOT-analysis, our team studied the competition and determined strengths and weaknesses of newly created company in comparison with other players in the market. The following conclusion was made: the accounting and financial advisory services market in Ukraine has not been formed, it is characterized by low activity of professional associations, low level of Ukrainian companies’ integration into international advisory structures and unions. Many consulting companies have considerable expertise in various fields, but no one is able to offer a comprehensive solution to meet specific requirements of every business entity. That is how the idea to name company as “Financial Solutions Group» (FSG) was born.
Selection of activity areas – financial, accounting, management consulting – was primarily associated with the fact, that in times of national economy transition to the new level and commitment to internationally accepted standards, many Ukrainian companies require financial (management) consulting services. Financial literacy, the ability to predict, to budget, analyze, maintain transparent accounting, use various financial instruments for business expansion is a prerequisite for the Ukrainian companies competitiveness on foreign markets. In turn, team members of FSG have the necessary competences in these areas and can help businesses become transparent and understandable for European partners.
